These files are single cut, which means that there is a single set of parallel cutting teeth. Both edges are also single cut. Of the three types listed below, the "Bastard" file is the roughest cut, the "Second" file is a medium cut, and the "Smooth" file is the finest cut. NOTE: File handle sold separately.
